Her love of reading started as a child with many trips with her mother to the Alexandria Public Library, and her love of the Cajun culture came from visiting family in Grand Prairie, Louisiana. Mary Beth makes her home in Lafayette, Louisiana, with her husband Craig. They enjoy spending time with their college kids, Connor and Olivia, and kayaking on the waterways in south Louisiana. They have two dogs and one cat. Both dogs dress up for Halloween. The cat refuses. This is Mary Beth's second picture book.
